French striker Alexandre Lacazette has insisted that he is happy with the proceedings at Arsenal and has no reason to leave the club at the end of the season. A recent report claimed that the striker has an agreement with the Gunners whereby he could head through the exit door, if they fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

When about the speculation, Lacazette said that he has no idea and added that everyone around the club is pleased with him, he told: “I didn’t know about this. I did not know. Yes, I have a contract with the club so there is no point for me to leave, everybody is happy with me at the club. A lot of people can talk. There is always something to say so I don’t really think about this. If the manager, the coach, my team-mates are happy with me then that’s the most important thing.”

Speaking after the game, Klopp admitted that he was worried by the fact that both Salah and Mane was constantly chasing after every ball, considering they have a Champions League semi-final tie against Barcelona in midweek, he said: “It’s difficult. I didn’t want them to chase back and stuff like that. Both looked really good and were running with each ball. You think: ‘What the heck are you doing?’ But it’s good. Today was a day where you have to leave then on the pitch and manage the game in a very offensive way, which they did.”
In a report covered by The Star, he said: “Man United will always look to sign players with the X-factor but I don’t see Samuel Umtiti as necessarily a Manchester United player. I think Eric Bailly has all the qualities Man United need in defence but United will always target the best, so who knows who might come in and they will always look to strengthen the squad. “For me the focus would be the midfield.”
Speaking in a press conference, Emery spoke positively about the performance of Aubameyang and stated that he was the designated penalty-taker despite fumbling a similar chance at Spurs last weekend, he said: “Aubameyang has experience and he’s a specialist with scoring. Lacazette can also shoot and today I had the same confidence with both.
It was not long ago that Chelsea were able to get a 2-0 victory over Manchester City and Maurizio Sarri was receiving a lot of plaudits for becoming the first manager to beat City in the league this season. However, things have quickly gone wrong for the former Napoli manager, who has decided to persuade the club to bring in a 31-year-old striker as a replacement for Alvaro Morata, who is in his prime at 26. The drubbing against Bournemouth and the heavy loss against Manchester City are some of the least problems for Maurizio Sarri, who has admitted that he has been unable to motivate his players.
Owing to this, the 28-year-old has been regularly linked with a move to Real Madrid and when asked on the same, Hazard admitted that he harbours the ambition of succeeding with the European champions, he said: “Why not? You know it very well. You’re asking the question, but you know what the answer will be so you don’t have to ask it.”
